1. About 24Pulse

24Pulse is an AI-powered news intelligence platform built by QNgin. We help organizations stay informed by automatically monitoring global news sources, analyzing articles with artificial intelligence, and delivering relevant alerts and daily briefings to your team.

By using 24Pulse, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

2. How the Service Works

24Pulse continuously monitors curated news sources across sectors such as energy, technology, maritime, defense, and more. Here is what happens behind the scenes:

• Collection — We automatically gather articles from publicly available RSS feeds and news websites every few minutes.
• AI Analysis — Each article is analyzed by artificial intelligence to determine its category, sentiment, urgency, and relevance to your organization's interests.
• Alerts — When an article matches your organization's topics or keywords, the system generates an alert and can notify your team via email.
• Daily Briefings — Each morning, the system creates a personalized intelligence briefing summarizing the most relevant news from the past 24 hours, delivered to your inbox.
• Dashboard — You can browse, search, and explore all analyzed articles, alerts, and briefings through a web-based dashboard.

3. Your Account

Access to 24Pulse is managed through your organization. Each team member is set up with a profile that includes:

• Your name and email address
• Your preferred language for alerts and briefings
• Your notification preferences (which alerts you receive and at what severity level)
• Your areas of interest

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact your organization's administrator immediately.

4. What We Collect

We collect and process the following types of information:

Organization data — Your organization's name, country, region, timezone, language preferences, and topics of interest. This helps us tailor news monitoring to your needs.

Member data — Names, email addresses, language preferences, notification settings, and interest areas for each team member. We use this to deliver personalized alerts and briefings.

News article data — We collect publicly available news articles from RSS feeds and websites. This includes article titles, content, publication dates, and source information. This is publicly available information — we do not access private or paywalled content.

Usage data — We keep records of emails sent, alert activity, and system performance to ensure the service runs smoothly.

5. How AI Processes Information

24Pulse uses artificial intelligence to analyze news articles and generate insights. Here is what you should know:

• Article text is sent to AI services for analysis, including categorization, sentiment scoring, and relevance matching.
• Your organization's name, country, and topics of interest are included in AI requests so the system can determine what is relevant to you.
• AI also generates the content of daily briefing emails and alert summaries.
• We use semantic search technology to find articles that are most relevant to your organization's interests.

6. Alerts & Email Communications

24Pulse sends two types of email communications:

Alert emails are sent when a news article matches your organization's monitoring criteria. The frequency depends on news activity and your severity threshold setting. Alert emails are written in your preferred language and include a summary of what happened and why it matters.

Daily briefing emails are sent once per day and contain a comprehensive overview of the previous 24 hours of relevant news, including top stories, sentiment analysis, and key developments.

You can manage your email preferences at any time:

• Turn alerts on or off
• Set your minimum alert severity (Info, Warning, Urgent, or Critical)
• Turn daily briefings on or off
• Change your preferred language

Contact your organization's administrator to update your preferences.

7. Third-Party Services

To deliver our service, we work with trusted technology providers:

• AI Analysis — We use AI language models to analyze articles and generate summaries. Article content and organization context is processed by these services.
• Search Technology — We use a vector database to power intelligent article search and relevance matching.
• Email Delivery — Alert and briefing emails are sent through a secure email gateway.
• Infrastructure — We use cloud services for caching and session management to keep the platform fast and responsive.

All third-party services are bound by their own privacy and security policies. We select providers that maintain high standards for data protection.

8. Data Storage & Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a high level of security:

• All connections to 24Pulse are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text
• Access to the platform is controlled through role-based permissions
• Optional two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for additional security
• Continuous monitoring and logging of systems and user activities to detect anomalies and prevent unauthorized access
• Database backups are maintained for disaster recovery
• Our servers are located in Germany, within the European Union

9. Cybersecurity & Incident Response

We implement and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity framework aligned with applicable EU requirements, including the NIS2 Directive. This includes:

• Continuous risk assessments of systems, infrastructure, and data processing activities
• Implementation of technical and organizational security measures, including encryption, access control, and monitoring
• Regular testing, auditing, and improvement of our security controls
• Defined roles and responsibilities for security governance at management level

In the event of a significant security incident, we will notify relevant authorities and affected users in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR's 72-hour notification requirement for personal data breaches.

10. Data Retention

We process personal data based on the following legal grounds under the GDPR: contractual necessity, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligations.

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary:

• Account data — Retained for the duration of the customer relationship. You may request deletion at any time.
• Service data — News articles, AI analysis, alerts, and briefings are retained for the ongoing operation of the intelligence platform.
• Legal data — Retained as required by applicable law.

When personal data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized. In accordance with the EU Data Act, users may request access to data generated through their use of the service.

11. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — You can view your profile information, preferences, and communication history through the platform dashboard.
• Update — You can update your preferences, language settings, and notification options at any time.
• Unsubscribe — You can turn off alert emails, daily briefings, or both through your member preferences.
• Deletion — You can request that your personal data be deleted by contacting us at post@24pulse.io. We will remove your member profile and associated data within 30 days.
• Export — You can request an export of your data by contacting us.

12. Intellectual Property

The 24Pulse platform, including its design, branding, software, and AI models, is owned by QNgin. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.

News content collected from third-party sources remains the property of the original publishers. 24Pulse provides summaries and analysis for informational purposes only.

AI-generated content such as briefings, alert descriptions, and summaries are produced by the platform for your organization's use. You may use this content internally for business purposes.

13. Service Availability

We aim to keep 24Pulse running around the clock. However, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Unexpected technical issues
• Third-party service disruptions

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of planned maintenance. The service is provided on a best-effort basis, and we are not liable for any losses resulting from temporary unavailability.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify active users via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of 24Pulse after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
